The Tipis are set between the Lake District Fells and The Solway Coast a rustic and individual Cumbrian wedding venue available for hire over three days, May through to September every year. This is enough time to tailor your venue to your own taste and make your wedding or event truly unique to you.

Our dream was to create a hidden magical venue nestled in spectacular countryside, somewhere that you would never expect to stumble across in amongst trees, high hedgerows, and meadowland. An open yet secluded setting.  A secret Den. 

The interior of the venue reflects the outside space with ivy and floral decoration, mixed with old metal cartwheels as lighting, an indoor firepit, rustic wooden ladders and vintage leather couches. There is a whole section of the tipi dedicated to the dancefloor which is created from reclaimed wooden boards, then trestle tables and benches to seat up to 200 guests as well as a separate tipi offers seating and rugs, a perfect space to chill out in. 

The front of the tipi looks onto a landscaped garden with a stunning outdoor ceremony space. There is an abundance of outdoor seating and a rustic stone campfire in the middle to sit round on warm evenings. All the outdoor and indoor spaces are subtly lit with festoon and fairy lights which creates a magical space day and night.

The Den At Four Acre is open May to September. The venue is available on a hire basis over three days. Food and entertainment can be chosen by the bridal party to cater for their individual preferences, whether it’s a formal sit-down meal or a laid-back hog roast in the garden. We can you organise your day as much or as little as you like, we work alongside many supplier partners to recommend suppliers for your needs.
